Pricing (or ‘the bottom line’)
Unfortunately, for many companies, top priority is price rather than quality. This is certainly logical in today’s ever-changing, challenging economy. Another one of my mottos: you get what you pay for. I may not be the cheapest translator on the market, but I do provide translations at a fair, competitive price. Fair to my customers (including translation agencies), and fair to other translators who also work hard to earn a living. Value for money...
Depending on the country, part of the world and of course the translator, pricing may be based on number of words, characters, lines of text or hours worked. I charge by the word for translations. If you are not sure how many words are in a text, please contact me and I will be happy to assist.
I charge by the hour for proofreading and reviewing.
